In the picture is also shown if the sensors are in the mass by ECM / ECU.
Sample case trouble PGM FI System.
For example on the pgm fi system when we check the failure of the IACV sensor but the fuel pump, Injector, and coil is normal then we must check the mass path (-) on the IACV sensor. Munkin alone on the cable occurs konslet or even broken. We can also try by giving the mass line directly to check it.
Another example if the fuel pump is not working but in the injector, and coil is normal (let out fire). So we just try to give the mass directly on the fuel pump.
But if the motorcycle dies entirely, you try to check the path of CKP, maybe the sensor does not issue voltage.
And do also check on the main relay. Because the relay gives a positive current to all sensors.
